The "Merchants" Tab contains commission data, merchant contact info, summary transaction data, equipment coding, saved documents, notes, merchant statements, status with settlement batch information and Elavon help desk tickets for boarded merchants.
Navigate to
Search
Search for words within the DBA and/or the merchant’s contact information.
Filters
Narrow the merchant list by using one or more of these filters:
Note: Search chips and Filters can be stacked, making your results refined.
Salesperson
Select a Sales Representative from the drop-down menu to display merchants assigned to the selected Salesperson.
Lead Partner (Source)
Select a Lead Source from the dropdown menu to display merchants assigned to the lead source.
Processor
Narrow the results to display Merchants belonging to a particular processor
Client Group / Entity
Narrow results to include merchants within the specified client group or entity assignment (Elavon only)
View Status (types)
Narrow the list to merchants that are “open”, “closed”, “new” or “inactive”.
Note: Inactive: implies processing habits have changed, potential red flag. Closed: Permanent Closure. Open: Processing normally and active mid.
Date + Status date combo filter
Filter for merchants whose status date is ON, BEFORE, or AFTER the specified date.

Narrow the results to merchants with chosen tag
SIC Code
Search by industry name or code (Elavon only)
Group By
Group by Chain number (Elavon only)
PCI Compliance

Details
Merchant details contains merchant demographic data, assignments, account status, important dates, merchant account and routing numbers, commission assignments and the ability to add custom fields.
Documents
View and upload documents to the merchant record.
PCI (elavon only)
Elavon PCI compliance status updates occur in slower update intervals than most system updates, sometimes up to 2 weeks from when the merchant becomes compliant to when the update shows. Once the status is applied you'll find the registration date (signed up) , SAQ compliance date (when the customer completed the questionnaire), and the SAQ renewal date (when the customer needs to do the questionnaire next).
Batches (elavon only)
Access up to the last 30 merchant settlement batches and group by Batch or Card Type.
Group by Card Type View shows the sum amount per each card type in the batches.
Group by Batch view shows the list of batches and batches can be selected to view batch details. In the list you will see date of the batch, a batch number, terminal ID, and transaction and refund amounts and counts.
Batch detail view opens a slide in window displaying the content of the batch including each transaction, type of cards, truncated card numbers, and the amount of each transaction.
Elavon Call Notes
When Elavon opens a customer support ticket that ticket is added to the system update queue and is loaded every night. Email notifications are also delivered to the main sales user assigned to the account each day.
Equipment Coding Information
Equipment and Var coding information automatically loads from Elavon when the merchant is approved. Other processor's equipment information is added manually via the admin Equipment coding area.
Select to open a window to display the equipment coding sheet and then use the option buttons at the top of the page to print or save to PDF.
Notes
These are notes you can make or other users with access to the merchant record can make. Each note is time stamped and the user who made the note is displayed.

2. How can I search for specific merchants?
You can search for merchants by:
Keywords: Search within the DBA and/or the merchant's contact information.
Filters: Refine your search using various filters, such as Salesperson, Lead Partner, Processor, Client Group/Entity, View Status, Date & Status date, Tag, SIC Code, Group By, PCI Compliance, and Starts with.
3. What does the 'Inactive' merchant status mean?
"Inactive" status implies that the merchant's processing habits have changed, which could be a potential red flag. This differs from "Closed" status, which indicates permanent closure, and "Open" status, signifying normal and active processing.
4. How often does Elavon PCI compliance status update?
Elavon PCI compliance status updates occur less frequently than other system updates, sometimes taking up to two weeks from the time a merchant becomes compliant. The Merchant tab will show the registration date, SAQ compliance date, and the SAQ renewal date.

Elavon merchant equipment and VAR coding information automatically load upon merchant approval. Information for merchants using other processors is added manually via the admin Equipment coding area. You can view and print or save the equipment coding sheet as a PDF.
8. What kind of reports are available on the Merchants Tab?
The Merchants Tab offers historical merchant volume and commission revenue reporting. You can access:
