Using the Application Submission Trends Feature:

  1. Log into your PulsePoint/MSPware account.

  2. Navigate to the Application Submission Trends section by clicking the Reports option from the side menu, then click the Application tab, and then click Application Submission Trends.

  3. Select Time Period: Choose the desired time period for analysis.

  4. Review Visualizations: The graph will display your application count and approval ratio year over year based on your selected time period.

  5. Download Data (Optional): You can download the chart data for your records.

Understanding the Data:

  • Report Year Adjustments: Changing the Report Year in your settings will tailor the data in the info-graphics to that specific year.

    • Selecting a previous Report Year will exclude Year To Date (YTD) and Month To Date (MTD) comparisons from the info-graphics.

  • Info-Graphics:

    • YTD Submitted: This figure represents the total number of applications submitted during the current report year, with a percentage comparison to the previous year to date, indicating whether submissions have increased or decreased.

    • MTD Submitted: This number shows the total applications submitted during the current month, comparing it to the same month in the previous year to show performance changes.

    • Approval Percentage: This metric represents the percentage of submitted applications that have been approved.

  • Graph:

    • Y-Axis: Displays the number of leads submitted each month.

    • X-Axis: Shows the months chronologically.

    • Key: Explains the different statuses an application can have (In review with Elavon, Submitted for Review, Pended, Withdrawn, Approved) and a dotted line visually represents the prior year's monthly performance.

  • Table:

    • Submitted Date: Displays the date the application was sent to the office or processor.

    • Merchant DBA: Shows the DBA submitted with the application or, if approved, the approved merchant's DBA.

    • Salesperson: Displays the name of the sales user linked to the application record.

    • Current Status: Shows the current status of the application, such as In review with Elavon, Submitted for Review, Pended, Withdrawn, or Approved.

    • MID: Upon approval, this field will display the merchant ID.

    • Division: Shows the division the salesperson is assigned to.

    • Application Type: Indicates whether the application is for a US or Canadian business.
