Time to Approval

How fast is the average application approved by the processor once you submit them to the office?

Updated over a week ago

Getting an approval doesn’t have to be a time-consuming process. By researching and implementing processes to reduce the average time it takes to get an approval, you’ll be able to create an effortless and streamlined approval process.

Understanding the Difference between Pended and Non-Pended Approvals

The terms ‘pending’ and ‘non-pending’ refer to two different kinds of approvals. ‘Pended’ approvals are those where an authorization has been delayed, while ‘non-pended’ approvals are those where an authorization has not been delayed. It is possible to receive one or the other type of approval, depending on the situation.

By taking the difference between the average hours to approval when pended by office and the average hours to approval when not pended by office, you will be able to see how much time pends delay getting an approval. The overall goal is to reduce pends and therefore, the overall average hours to approval.

Factors Affecting Timeframe

There are a few factors that can have an impact on the time it takes for a processor to complete an application. These factors can include:

  • How quickly the application is reviewed internally before submitting to Elavon

  • Documents and forms provided are correct to avoid pends

These are just a few of the factors that can have an impact on the processing timeline.

In order to ensure your application is processed in a timely manner, please make sure that all documents and forms have been completed and submitted correctly.

If there are any questions or concerns about an application, please contact the processor immediately.
